Some Users Experiencing Degraded Performance in Canvas

UPDATE 7:19pm | Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced a resolution to their earlier outage, and we have seen a decrease in the Canvas-related error messages and timeouts. We will continue to monitor throughout the evening. UPDATE 4:36pm | Amazon Web Services (AWS) is currently experiencing an outage that is impacting some Honorlock users, services, and sub-service organizations. Specifically, exam takers taking exams within the Canvas LMS are experiencing error messages and timeouts when attempting to navigate through or starting their exams. Some students are seeing success by restarting their exam. Additionally, LockDown Browser and RPNow applications are also being impacted. UPDATE 11:17am | Instructure has reported that some users may be receiving page errors or general slowness when attempting to access Canvas. Status updates can be viewed at status.instructure.com

Some users are unable to access some features in Canvas, such as Grades and Inbox, through the Google Chrome web browser. Instructure support is aware and working to resolve the issue. Affected users should contact CIRT Lab at cirtlab@unf.edu for additional assistance.
