On Saturday, June 28th around 9 a.m. the Helpdesk began receiving calls that users were having difficulty logging in to Canvas. After investigating further, it was determined that there was an issue with the authentication type.
A fix was implemented at 1:45 p.m. and users should now be able to access Canvas without issue.
