Instructors may add additional users to Canvas sites. However, students should not be manually enrolled through Canvas. Students officially registered for a course through Banner are automatically enrolled in courses. For more information about student enrollments in Canvas click here.

- It is recommended that you enroll users by their N# and not by their email address. If you receive the error message below it is likely the user’s email alias was imported into Canvas so they will not match.
- Instructors should not add students to a course; students must officially register through Banner.
