Starting today at 10:37 a.m. EST, some users were experiencing long load times when accessing Canvas and notifications were failing to send.
Instructure engineers investigated the issue and identified a fix, which was implemented today at 2:33 p.m. EST.
Load times should be back to normal and notifications should again be going out, but they will take some time to catch up. All notifications should be caught up within the next hour. You can monitor the status of Canvas at https://status.instructure.com/
