Instructure is reporting issues with Canvas DocViewer, preventing some users from accessing documents inside of their browsers. Documents are still accessible via download. For more information, please check the Instructure Status page for updates or contact cirtlab@unf.edu.
Workaround: Although files may not be visible inside of the browser windows, downloading submissions manually still works.

Update (9:20 am): Login now appears to be working for some users, but course loading time may be slow. The vendor has identified the issue and a fix is being implemented.
Update (8:48 am): Canvas, UNF’s learning management system, is currently unavailable due to an issue with the vendor’s network. The following error is appearing for some users:

]]>UPDATE: Users experienced errors when attempting to access Canvas from 4:29PM until 4:59PM today. This issue appeared to be vendor-related, and the vendor has announced the issue resolved. If users continue to experience issues please contact CIRT or the ITS Help Desk.
ORIGINAL: Canvas users are experiencing long load times and/or 504 page time-out errors when accessing the LMS. This issue appears to be vendor-related. Instructure is aware of the outage, and they are working on implementing a fix.
]]>2:30 PM Some users are unable to submit files to Assignments, and receive a page error. Please note this issue is not affecting all users. Canvas engineers are investigating the root cause. They may have found a potential cause, but they are still testing to ensure it’s going to provide a resolution.

]]>As of 12:58PM Sunday, August 19th, Mywings and Canvas are not accessible to some users. Users receive HTTP Status 500 when trying to access Mywings and a failed to log in screen when going directly to Canvas. ITS has been notified and is currently working on the issue.

]]>At 4:50PM the Spring 2018 enrollments are still processing.
At 3:01PM user accounts have been restored in Canvas, but course enrollments are still being worked on.
As of 1:10PM Wednesday, Feb. 21st users are unable to access Canvas. When attempting to access Canvas some users receive the following message, “Canvas doesn’t have an account for user: “. If you are an instructor and are able to access Canvas you may see that your student enrollments are affected.
ITS is aware of the problem and they are investigating now.

]]>As of 11:45AM Thursday, August 10th Canvas is not accessible. When attempting to access Canvas users may receive a blank page or a HTTP ERROR 500 message may appear. Canvas is aware of the problem and have reported it on their status page, see below. We will continue to post updates as we receive them.
